Plan A Visit

GETTING TO KNOW EACH OTHER

We know meeting someone for the first time can be nerve-racking, and walking into a new church can be intimidating and at times terrifying depending on your previous church experience. If you are considering attending one of our worship services or church gatherings, we pray that you would take that vulnerable step and come check it out! We want to make sure that you feel like a part of the family when you come to visit us! We can’t fully describe what you will experience, but at least we can try to give you an idea of what to expect.

A LITTLE ABOUT US

The mission of Crosspointe Church is to take the Gospel across the street and across the world. We envision a church where every single person becomes both a minister and a missionary. We strive to share the story of Jesus, stand on the truth of scripture, and to serve the community of Stillwater and the surounding area of Payne County. We would love for you to be our guest this weekend. Our goal is to provide a church that is more than just a place to attend weekly but a family that you experience life with.

What can I expect?

HOW LONG IS A CROSSPOINTE CHURCH SERVICE?

In total, a Crosspointe Church service is about 60 minutes in length. We start with a welcome from one of our pastors and call to worship. Then we join together and worship God through music, prayer and giving. At Crosspointe our worship time is typically a blended service merging both rich traditional hymns and moving modern worship songs. We believe in the Word of God and each week we experience powerful and relevant preaching from the Bible by our Lead Pastor, Mike King, followed by a time of response.

WHAT'S THE CULTURE LIKE AT CROSSPOINTE CHURCH?

We focus at Crosspointe to bring you a welcoming environment. As a guest, we want you to feel like you our a part of our family from the moment you walk through the doors until you leave after the service. With that being said, on a Sunday morning you might see some people in a suit and tie, others in a t-shirt and jeans, and a lot of in between.  We believe that God doesn’t expect us to clean ourselves up before we come to Him and His church; so we say, dress comfortably and modest and come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as part of the family.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

We have activities and classes for kids of all ages. We provide a nursery (birth thru 2 years old) for our Sunday morning services. Sunday mornings we provide a Children's Church (ages 3 years old thru 6th Grade) that meets while the adults have their worship service in the Sanctuary. The first Sunday morning of every month is our Family Worship Sunday where children and adults all come together for a joint worship service in the Sancturary; the Nursery is still provided for this service. Sunday nights is dedicated to our youth; we have Y.E.S. (Youth Encountering the Savior) every Sunday night. Your family's security and safety is of our upmost importance. ALL of our staff and volunteers go through extensive background checks and training.
